Whew! … What a first race of the 2025 Season! With limited practices under out belt, our Dust Devils went out and rode their butts off! It was cool and overcast, but perfect weather for racing!
We supported 4 Junior Devo and 7 High School racers for this race. Our riders besides being run over, dodging poison oak EVERYWHERE and exhausted from the long drive … all performed strong.
Thank you to all of our traveling coaches (Darin, Susan, Dave, Scott, Lauren, Tommy, Nate, Kyle, Jennifer & Noah) and our supportive parents who all made the 2+ hour trek down to Fort Ord. Big thanks to Jason Carroll for providing our breakfast and lunch options for Saturday. And yep, Coach Noah even found a turkey in the parking lot … see below! 😀
We were stoked to see nearly 35 people at our pre-race dinner at Gusto’s. Everyone had good food and a wonderful time.
All of our racers worked extremely hard and improved their riding/racing skills. Your efforts always inspire us coaches!
